Victoria, BC ~ The Victoria Grizzlies are deeply saddened to hear about the loss of Matthew Gaudreau and John Gaudreau
Matthew Gaudreau was a talented hockey player, who spent four years at Boston College before turning pro.
Victoria Grizzlies Head Coach Rylan Ferster coached with Matthew for one year with the Philadelphia Hockey Club in the NCDC. “Matthew was a very talented young coach with a bright future. Always looking to make players better. He will be sadly missed by all,” said Ferster.
John was a spectacular hockey player but an even better; husband, father, brother, teammate and son. Johnny will always be best known for his nine seasons in Calgary, where he emerged as one of the brightest young stars in the NHL after a spectacular NCAA career with Boston College
