Victoria, BC ~ The Victoria Grizzlies announced on Tuesday morning that they have signed 2007 born defenseman; Tyson Moss for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
“I can’t wait. It is such a good city and I am excited to be in a new place,” said Tyson during an interview.
Moss joins the Grizzlies after a breakout year with the Vancouver NE Chiefs U18 AAA program where he scored 12 goals and added 49 points in just 36 games. “I am really thankful to the Chiefs,” said Moss, “It is a great program that really helped me along in my development.”
Before joining the Chiefs squad he was with Yale Hockey Academy in Abbotsford, BC. “I am an offensive D-man who loves to win. I absolutely hate losing. You can learn stuff from losing I guess, but I hate it,” contributed Tyson when asked about his play style.
Moss becomes the 6th defenseman to be signed this off season by the Grizzlies, who were in need of some reinforcements after a plethora of graduating or NCAA bound pivots headed out this off season. “I want to be able to find a role. I am going to work as hard as I possibly can and help in any way possible.”
Welcome to Bear Country Tyson!
