Victoria, BC ~ The Victoria Grizzlies announced on Monday evening that they have acquired 2005 born net minder; Tyler Hodges in a trade with the Nanaimo Clippers.
“We are pleased to add Tyler,” said Grizzlies Associate Coach and Director of Player Personnel Geoff Grimwood, “He is a proved BCHL veteran who makes our team better.”
Tyler spent last year in Nanaimo where he appeared in 33 games and posted a record of 15-16-2 with a 3.61 GAA and .895 SV%.
Hodges is also quite familiar with the Grizzlies who he appeared against five times in last year’s regular season and as well in game 2 of the Coastal Conference Quarter Final.
